After Albert Henry’s mother Mary Elizabeth Morton died when he was a baby, Albert went to live with his mother’s sister, Dicey Jane (Morton) Ebey. The above image shows Dicey’s children Sam, Julia, Mary, and Oscar Ebey.
I can’t find an 1890 or 1900 census for Dicey and her family (just as I can’t for Albert). Albert and Julia were the exact same age — I bet they would’ve had fun together!
